Annual Children’s Literature Event to be Held in Red Wing, Minnesota

Burnsville, MN – August 10, 2017 —
18th Minnesota Children’s Book Festival scheduled for September 16, 2017, 12:00-5:00 PM, at Anderson Center at Tower View, 163 Tower View Drive, Red Wing, MN 55066.

The Minnesota Children’s Book Festival is hosting its 18th annual celebration on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 12:00-5:00 PM. The festival is scheduled to host its largest lineup of authors and illustrators and to offer an unmatched selection of family-friend entertainment events.

This year’s celebration will feature story times, book signings, podcast recording sessions, and presentations by authors and illustrators; bookmaking workshops for children, and interactive and educational event stations. For aspiring illustrators, Nina Victor Crittenden and Stephen Shaskan will host, “So You Want to be an Illustrator.” Other authors and illustrators feature at the festival will include Marion Dane Bauer, H.M. Bouwman, Betsy Bowen, Rick Chrustowski, John Coy, David Geister, Melanie Heuiser Hill, David Huyck, Megan Maynor, Chris Monroe, Bao Phi, Margi Preus, Laura Purdie Salas, Phyllis Root, Kurtis Scaletta, Lauren Stringer, and Stan Tekiela.

The Anderson Center at Tower View hosts the Minnesota Children’s Book Festival. It is located five miles north of Red Wing at the intersection of Highways 61 and 19.
